ALBANY, N.Y. — A woman has been charged with putting the head of a coyote in her ex-boyfriend’s car, a dead squirrel at his doorstep and a dead cat in his hot tub, police said. Stephanie Hubbs, 31, faces four misdemeanor counts of harassment and one count of criminal trespass, police said. She was arraigned Thursday and is free on $7,500 bail.
The harassment allegedly started on Christmas Day, when the boyfriend, who was not identified by police, found a dead squirrel at his door. It continued periodically until last Monday, when Hubbs allegedly left a live puppy in the man’s back yard in below-freezing temperatures, police said.
