Ronald Haft Nixes Father’s Salary: The Haft family feud got uglier as son Ronald Haft and the board of a family-controlled real estate company cut off father Herbert Haft’s $800,000 salary. The son, who is president of Combined Properties Inc., said his father was using company funds to pay for personal things like divorce costs. The elder Haft, 74, founder of retail holding company Dart Group Corp., and his two sons have been fighting over control of the family empire.
