Naval Officer Infected With Deadly Bacteria

SAN DIEGO —
A 22-year-old Navy officer training to become an elite SEAL commando has been infected with a deadly form of bacteria--often mistakenly called flesh-eating bacteria--that has killed two people in Southern California in recent months, a Navy spokesman said Monday.
