SANTA MONICA : Traffic on PCH Resumes After Mudslide Cleared
- Share via
Traffic was back to normal along a stretch of Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica on Wednesday after cleanup of tons of mud that slid onto the roadway during the recent rain.
The mudslide in the 600 block of PCH, just north of the California Incline, occurred about 1:15 p.m. and left three lanes blocked, prompting authorities to route traffic around the mess.
By midnight Tuesday, all but one northbound lane was reopened and the street was cleared of the remaining mud Wednesday.
