LOS ANGELES : Baby Found in Apartment With 2 Dead Women
An 11-month-old girl was rescued from a Hollywood apartment where two women were found dead Wednesday evening, Los Angeles City Fire Department officials said.
“Nobody had seen or heard from anyone in the apartment since last Saturday, but the infant seems OK except for a severe rash,” said Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis. “But another day there might have meant death.”
The infant, who was found at 7:40 p.m., was taken to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles suffering from dehydration, Collis said.
Police said the women, 26 and 28, were immigrants from Russia. Sources who had monitored police radio calls said officers were summoned to the scene to investigate a murder suicide, but police released no details of the deaths late Wednesday.
