PacifiCare Medi-Cal Plan OKd: The Cypress-based managed-care subsidiary of PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. announced that its prepaid health plan for Medi-Cal patients has been approved for San Francisco County, effective immediately. The approval was given by California Department of Corporations and the Department of Health Services.
