Jobless Rate Falls to 4 1/2-Year Low: The unemployment rate in the last quarter of 1994 fell to 7.5% as overall employment shot up to a record, the government said. The December quarter rate was slightly lower than economists had predicted and compared with a revised rate of 7.7% three months earlier. Unemployment is now at its lowest level since June, 1990.
