Patagonia to Relocate Distribution Center

Patagonia Inc., the Ventura-based outdoor clothing firm, announced that it will relocate its distribution center to Reno, Nev., in the spring of 1996. The 60 employees at the Ventura center will be offered a chance to transfer to Reno, the company says.
But Patagonia says it has no plans to move its corporate headquarters, which employs 300 in west Ventura.
“The lease on the Ventura warehouse will be expiring, and we expect to need a larger facility,” company spokeswoman Lu Setnicka says. Patagonia also has operations in Montana.
