Library Appeal
Save our libraries.
This is an appeal to all Ventura County homeowners who are getting the full benefit of Proposition 13 and have saved thousands of dollars in property taxes since the law went into affect.
A library tax or a user fee would be grossly unfair to those who bought their homes in recent years and are paying inordinately high property taxes, besides suffering a disproportionate tax increase each year.
Please consider making a voluntary contribution to the county Library Services Agency to help restore the services we enjoyed in the past.
