WILSHIRE : African Storytelling Offered at Library

A traditional African storytelling session will be held Tuesday at the Wilshire branch of the Los Angeles Public Library.

Nailah Malik, who has appeared on KCET and at the Bardsdall Theatre, will present the South African vela-- “to rise and grow”--storytelling tradition as part of the library’s Black History Month celebration.

The program, open to all ages, will be 3:30 p.m. at the branch, 316 N. Western Ave.
