Afghanistan

Your coverage of Afghanistan’s misery and plight is excellent and forthright. Only 15 years ago it was a nice peaceful country. Then it had a communist government and today it has no government, a land of chaos and calamity. The poor Afghans have paid a heavy price. Meanwhile, Pakistan has built a formidable defense force with nuclear capability, thanks to the United States’ help in bankrolling that effort.

The fall of the communist government in Afghanistan might have reckoned the fall of communist governments all over the world. The countries that have gained from the Afghanistan resistance movement have a moral and proper obligation to save that country.
