Sow in the ground: beets, carrots.
(Below 6,000 feet)
Sow for transplanting: All of high mountains plus onion family, strawberries, summer squashes.
Sow under cover: Hardy greens, peas, radishes, turnips.
Plant under cover: broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, onion family, potatoes.
Harvest: hardy salad greens, perennial herbs, turnips.
