Laguna Beach : ‘Village Entrance’ Panel Members Sought

Share

Gearing up for one of this city’s most eagerly anticipated projects, the city is seeking task force members to help plan the development of a highly visible corner in town known as the “village entrance.”

The 21-member Village Entrance Task Force will include planning commissioners, representatives from civic organizations and two “citizens at large,” one of whom must represent downtown merchants.

Members will meet at least once every three weeks on Tuesday nights for three hours, beginning in May. With city leaders eager to begin renovating the corner at Forest Avenue and Laguna Canyon Road, the task force is expected to complete its work within one year.
