CAMARILLO : Judge to Address Women’s Conference

Ventura County Superior Court Judge Colleen Toy White will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Camarillo Women’s Day conference on April 22.

White will speak on her life and career, according to Women’s Day spokeswoman Laine Waggoner.

The 16th annual Women’s Day program will start at 8 a.m. at Rio Mesa High School, 545 Central Ave. in Oxnard.

It and will feature more than 30 workshops dealing with issues facing women, such as family, finances, careers and health.

White’s keynote speech will begin at noon at Spanish Hills Golf and Country Club, 999 Crestview Drive in Camarillo.

The entrance fee is $38 for the entire day, $22 for just the workshops or $30 for the luncheon program and fashion show. Discounts are available for seniors and students.

The event is sponsored by the Oxnard College Re-Entry Center and several local women’s groups. To register, call 986-5833 or 388-8821.
