ICN Executive to Leave Firm

Eugene Melnitchenko, a stock analyst hired early last year as vice president of corporate and financial relations for ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc., is leaving the Costa Mesa-based drug firm. ICN hired Melnitchenko, formerly a medical industry analyst for Legg Mason, Wood, Walker, a Baltimore brokerage firm, to improve investor relations after shareholder Rafi Khan’s failed proxy fight for the company. An ICN spokesman said Melnitchenko plans to join a Dallas brokerage.
