LOS ANGELES : Retrial Set for Man Accused of Killing Actor
A judge Thursday set a May 12 retrial for one of three men accused of murder for the shotgun killing more than a decade ago of character actor Frank Christi.
A jury, unable to reach a verdict in the case of Norman Freedberg, did convict his co-defendants, Alan Betts and Ronald Coe, of murder Feb. 9, after a lengthy trial before Superior Court Judge Paul Flynn.
Christi was killed in his Hollywood Hills home.
