Youth Killed in Crash Identified
A 16-year-old Granada Hills youth killed when his sports car smashed into a tree was identified Thursday as Chai Cheung, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported.
Chai died at the scene of the accident Wednesday night after he lost control of his car while speeding east on Devonshire Street in Chatsworth, authorities said.
Two passengers, 16- and 15-year-old boys, remained in critical condition at Northridge Hospital aMedical Center, said Sgt. Paul Modrell of the Los Angeles Police Department.
A third passenger, a 17-year-old girl, was listed in good condition at Holy Cross Medical Center, he said.
