Eltron International Gains New Senior Vice President

Eltron International Inc. announced that Robert Scoville has joined the company as senior vice president of sales and marketing, worldwide, a newly created position. Prior to joining the Chatsworth, Calif.-based company, Scoville was executive vice president of sales and marketing at Penultimate Inc. in Irvine. Eltron designs, manufactures and markets bar code label printers, software and related accessories.

* David E. Baldwin, associate director of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, Calif., will join San Diego-based General Atomics as senior vice president of its Fusion Group. At the same time, Thomas C. Simonen was appointed vice president of General Atomic. Simonen, who joined GA in 1988, is currently director of the DIII-D fusion research program.

* Chris Seaman has been appointed executive vice president of Superior National Insurance Group. Seaman, who has been chief financial officer of the Calabasas, Calif.-based workers’ compensation insurance underwriter since 1991, will retain that position.

* Los Angeles-based Managed Health Network Inc. has named Karen L. Goldstein as senior vice president, Western region and Peter Sterman as senior vice president, sales and marketing. Goldstein was previously senior vice president of the managed Care Services division of Laguna Hills-based Community Psychiatric Centers.

* Donald E. Roland has been named president and chief operating officer of Treasure Chest Advertising Co., in Glendora. Roland has served as executive vice president of Treasure Chest since August, 1993. Treasure Chest prints retail advertising circulars, Sunday comics and newspaper TV listing guides.
