Help Provided for Small Businesses: Small-business owners with little time to search for business services and resources can find help at the third annual Small Business World Exposition & Conference. The event Friday and Saturday in the Los Angeles Convention Center’s North Hall features an Opportunity Center where small-business owners can speak to representatives of large corporations seeking small vendors. An exhibit hall will include displays by more than 150 exhibitors, such as insurance companies, banks, telephone companies and office equipment suppliers. Seminars on taxes, health insurance, business planning and other subjects are scheduled.
