Tandberg Cuts Prices on Tape Drives, Backup Kits

Tandberg Data Inc., a Simi Valley producer of tape drives and other products for computer backup and storage, has announced price reductions across its entire product line.

The company is cutting prices up to 18% on its TDC tape drives and PANTHER backup kits.

Tandberg said it is making the reductions “to reinforce its leadership position in the high-end quarter-inch cartridge tape drive market.”
