Rockwell International Corp.: A federal bankruptcy judge in Atlanta has ordered the Seal Beach aerospace giant’s computer components division to resume supplying ailing Hayes Microcomputer with computer chips the modem maker says it needs to survive. The order required Rockwell to deliver Hayes the chips it needs to continue production through July. Atlanta-based Hayes filed for Chapter 11 reorganization last fall and has argued in court that Rockwell was withholding shipments to pressure it into selling a patent. Rockwell has said that shipments were affected by a chip shortage and that all of its customers were receiving chips on allocation.
