TUSTIN : WWII Netherlands Liberation Event Set

Honor bands from two Tustin Unified schools will perform during a ceremony commemorating the liberation of the Netherlands from Germany during World War II.
The ceremony, which begins at 8 p.m. Thursday, will coincide with the “Anne Frank in the World: A Lesson in Tolerance” exhibit at the library annex of the Newport Harbor Art Museum, 856 San Clemente Drive in Newport Beach.
Honors level bands from Columbus Tustin Middle School and Tustin High School will play the Dutch national anthem and “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Both bands are under the direction of Tustin High School music teacher Doug Fischer.
Admission is $4 and $3 for seniors.
