BREA : Registration Available for Summer Programs

A series of summer recreation programs for toddlers through adults will be conducted by the Brea Community Services Department starting this month.

Classes will include:

* Summer Tiny Tots, for ages 2 to 5, will be offered twice a week at William E. Fanning Elementary School. Activities will include crafts, games and excursions.

* Summer Fun Club, for ages 4 to 9, will feature trips to the La Habra Children’s Museum and the Fullerton Arboretum. Sessions will be twice a week at Fanning Elementary School.

* Brea City Day Camp, for ages 6 to 12, will be weekdays at Country Hills School. There will be trips to amusement parks, crafts, swimming, movies, books and computers.

* Arovista Park Play Daze, for ages 8 to 12, will be weekdays at Arovista Park. This free, drop-in program will feature arts and crafts, games and sports.

* Summer Youth Baseball, for boys and girls ages 4 to 12, will be offered at Tamarack Park. The emphasis will be on baseball fundamentals, sportsmanship and fun.

* Brea Swim Program, for all ages and skill levels, will be daily at the Municipal Plunge. Lessons and recreational swimming sessions will be offered.

* Summer Co-ed Volleyball, for adults, will be Monday and Tuesday nights in the Brea Olinda High School gymnasium. Leagues will be based on the skill level of players.
