NuOasis Gaming Inc.: The Irvine company said Wednesday that a federal court ordered the liquidation of the company’s only operation, Ba-Mak Gaming International Inc., under Chapter 7 of the bankruptcy laws. Ba-Mak operated five bingo halls in Louisiana until April 20 and had losses of $30,000 a month between September, 1993, and September, 1994. NuOasis said Ba-Mak assets exceeding $100,000, including $60,000 in cash, are missing. Last October, Ba-Mak sought protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Nona Morrelli’s II Inc., a maker of gourmet pasta and sauces and developer of gambling halls, owns 70% of NuOasis.
