Helionetics Inc.: The Irvine high-technology holding company said Friday that various class-action suits brought against the company and its units in the U.S. Central District Court of California late last year and early this year have been settled. Helionetics said the settlement involves issuance to the plaintiffs of 2 million common shares, as well as 2 million common stock purchase warrants exercisable within two years at $1.625 a share.

The settlement, subject to court approval, does not include claims against company directors, officers and other individuals, which have not been resolved, Helionetics said.
