Koll Names Executive VP of Administration
* Lynda Lane has been named executive vice president of administration for Koll, a Newport Beach real estate company. She directs the human resources, transition planning, training and professional development and communications functions of the company. Lane, who joined Koll in 1971, had been senior vice president before her new appointment.
* Holly Barnett has joined the Benjamin Group Inc., an Irvine public relations and marketing firm, as vice president and general manager of its Southern California division. She was public relations manager for Odetics Inc. in Anaheim, and before that, founded and managed the public relations division of R.L. Couch & Company.
* Eric Lux has been appointed vice president of product development at Virgin Interactive Entertainment in Irvine, a developer and publisher of computer, video game and interactive CD-ROM software. He was formerly director of product development, Philips Media Games at Philips Interactive Media.
* Silvia Wheatley has joined Gladstone International, an Irvine public relations firm, as account coordinator. She was previously an account coordinator with Shandwick Los Angeles, a public relations firm.
* Julianne Misiewicz has been appointed to manage the animal science division of Renaissance Pharmaceutical in Dana Point. Misiewicz will oversee the clinical trial work being done on a line of veterinary products that were introduced through major distributors in January. She also will oversee the expansion of the retail line that is distributed nationwide by Petco.
* Stuart M. Kaye has joined the law firm of Don D. Sessions in Mission Viejo, which handles employee rights. He was formerly the attorney for the Orange and San Diego offices of the California Labor Commissioner.
* Robert E. Driscoll has joined Mission Energy Co. in Irvine as senior vice president of the Asia Pacific division. He will be based in Singapore. Mission Energy, a subsidiary of SCEcorp, specializes in the development, acquisition, construction management and operation of independent power production facilities.
* John Soller has been appointed to the newly created position of communications manager for VR Sports, an Irvine sports software company. He was previously manager of marketing and community relations for the Los Angeles Raiders for 10 years.
* William C. Shepherd has been elected to the board of directors of Furon Co., a Laguna Niguel maker of industrial components. He succeeds William E. Eckhardt, who did not stand for reelection to the nine-member board. Shepherd is president and chief executive of Allergan Inc., an Irvine provider of specialty therapeutic products.
