New Kmart Chairman Gets Fat Pay Package: Floyd Hall, 56, will receive a guaranteed $2 million for his first year at the helm of the troubled retail chain, as well as stock worth $7.38 million. Hall’s compensation was disclosed in a Kmart Corp. filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Hall, who was hired last week after a two-month search, also has the titles of chief executive and president. Hall’s predecessor resigned under fire.
