Cellular Antennas
* Aesthetics may be the least of our problems with cellular antennas (June 7). Of far greater concern should be the fact that there is not yet any independently funded, peer-reviewed research establishing the safety of such facilities.
The burden of proof should be on the industry, not on the health of the public. In accordance with reservations expressed by the California Department of Health Services, San Francisco is no longer allowing the placement of cellular antennas on public school grounds.
Our children and our neighborhoods should not be subjected to the possible adverse health effects of exposures which are not fully understood.
