Dickman Rallies, Wins Air Rifle

Jayme Dickman of South Bend, Ind., was five points behind going into the final round and jumped from third place in her last three shots Friday to win the women’s air rifle competition at the USA Shooting National Championships in Chino.

Dickman had 783 of a possible 800 points in the match and 102.4 points in the final for a total of 885.4, a half-point more than Tammie Forster.

In other competition, George Ross of Santa Clarita won the men’s standard pistol with 573 of a possible 600 points.
