Meting Out Justice for Animals, Humans

* Regarding your article “What’s Worse, Killing a Rabbit or Beating a Girlfriend?” (June 28), you can use my tax dollars and yes, you can raise my taxes any day to protect an animal. The s.o.b. should get life in prison with no parole for what he did to that poor rabbit.

Oh, yeah, there was this girlfriend involved. Well, too bad for her, but she has two feet and can walk away from him any time she wants to.
