Storm Weakens in Atlantic

MIAMI —
Tropical Storm Chantal weakened a bit Monday as it moved north in the Atlantic Ocean on a course keeping it well clear of the United States and Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were near 65 m.p.h., down from a high of 70. People on Bermuda were told to expect showers and gusty winds.
