Renters: Reversal by Board Member Applauded

I’m sure I am joined by many of my fellow Santa Monica renters in applauding the intellectual acuity and open-mindedness of Rent Control Board member Lisa Monk Borrino in reversing her former anti-tenant position on the pass-through regulations (Westside, June 25).

That Lisa Monk Borrino demonstrated the political courage and (that rarest of bureaucratic qualities) humility to reverse her position on such a key issue is not only a credit to her, but a positive indicator for the continued success of the Santa Monicans for Renters’ Rights party.
