Pinnacle Micro Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of optical storage systems posted profit of $162,000, or 3 cents a share, for the second quarter, down from the $614,000, or 12 cents a share, reported a year earlier. Sales increased 50% to $20.6 million from $13.7 million. Six-month net income totaled $174,000, or 3 cents a share, compared with $1.9 million, or 36 cents a share, for the first half of 1994. Sales were up 34% to $40.8 million from $30.5 million.
