Newspaper Fights Ban on Michelangelo’s “David”

HONG KONG —
Censors in Hong Kong, already facing criticism for shunning a naked statue, are in hot water again--this time for ruling that a photo of Michelangelo’s statue, David, is indecent.
Eastern Express, an English-language daily, said it is appealing the Obscene Articles Tribunal’s ruling against the photo, which was printed in an advertisement for an art gallery.
