REGION : Disabled Children Can Attend Camps

Orthopaedic Hospital has launched a new program to provide outdoor recreation opportunities for inner-city children with physical disabilities.

“Outdoor Challenge” will offer free summer and winter camps for children who use wheelchairs and other assistance devices to water and snow ski, hike and become more independent during long weekend trips.

Sign-ups for the first two camps will be held Aug. 23-25.
