Charlotte Brady, 55, has been elected president of the Irvine Valley College Foundation board.

Brady, who retired last year as manager and vice president of Fidelity Federal Bank in Irvine, has been a college foundation trustee for seven years. She is also a founding board member of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and was charter president of the Soroptimists of Irvine.

As president of Irvine Valley’s board, Brady said, she will focus on raising funds for scholarships and technology programs.

“Technology is going to be a major area that we will be looking at over the next few years,” she said. “We need to keep current so that students are prepared when they go out into the work force.”
