Invest in Education Before College Level

* Re: “It’s College, Not a Big School,” July 18. Is this what we have come to? Denying admissions for college enrollment to some students because their high school education was not sufficient?

When is the public school system going to wake up and smell the java! The problem needs to be addressed when students enter high school, and not at the end of their senior year. If this is the next generation of doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs and even teachers, then, we the people better start investing in our children’s education or lack thereof.
