World’s 2 Richest Men Reportedly Plan China Trip: Microsoft Corp. Chairman Bill Gates and his wife and Omaha investor Warren Buffett have rented cars on a train there to travel with friends next month, the Omaha World-Herald reported. “It is a personal vacation” for Gates and his wife, a spokesman for Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft told the newspaper. Buffett, chairman of Omaha-based Berkshire Hathaway Inc., declined to confirm the trip. Forbes magazine this year listed Gates as the world’s richest individual, with a $12.9-billion fortune. Buffett was put at No. 2, with $10.7 billion.
