Cardkey Offers New Line of Security Management

Cardkey Systems Inc., a Simi Valley producer of electronic access control products, has introduced a new line of its Pegasys 1000 security management system.

The new line, called Release 3.1, controls and monitors closed-circuit television and the use of badge entry keys. It also maintains cardholder records.

A fully configured system can support as many as 2,000 devices, such as card readers, remote security alarms and elevator controls, the company said.

Cardkey was acquired earlier this month by a Dallas company, Amtech Corp.
