More than 90 stolen bicycles were found in a house when police served a narcotics search warrant, officials said Thursday.

Four people at the house in the 600 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possessing stolen property and drugs, police said.

Three of the suspects, James Robert McKinney, 44, David Brian Cox, 38, and Barbara Jean Stone, 38, live in the house, and the other suspect, Michael Stone, 36, is a transient, officials said. All four were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale. Cox also was booked on suspicion of having stolen property, although police could not explain why he was singled out.

During the raid, police seized a small amount of drugs, an illegal shotgun, computer equipment and a variety of narcotics paraphernalia, police said. Authorities were surprised to discover the 92 bikes, most of which were intact.

Police said people may arrange to view the bicycles by calling detectives Rob James at (714) 738-3320 or Mario Magliano at (714) 738-3319. Proof of ownership, such as a serial number, must be shown.
