Re “Breast Implant Recipients Hold Graphic Protest,” Aug. 24:

Just a minute! Did I read that placards read “Body by God, Breast by Dow”? And Dow Corning is to blame for what?

Dow may be guilty of supplying the implant material to have altered what some perceive as an imperfection, but the unnecessary modification of what God provides comes under his plan called “free will.” Elective, cosmetic procedures are undertaken by choice and in so deciding we accept responsibility for our actions, right or wrong.
