The Sankarabharanam Trust of India has donated about 30 books on classical Indian dance and culture to the dance department library at Orange Coast College. Several dozen more books, all written in English, will be donated to the college over the next two years. The Madras, India-based trust has adopted the college as a “sister organization,” says Ramaa Bharadvaj, who teaches Indian dance classes there regularly.
