Wal-Mart apologized for pulling T-shirts proclaiming “Someday a Woman Will Be President” from one of its stores. “We made a mistake,” Jay Allen, vice president of corporate affairs, said from Bentonville, Ark. Wal-Mart pulled the shirts Aug. 21 from a store in Miramar after a couple of customers complained they were offensive. “They found the T-shirts to be of a political nature that they didn’t agree with,” Allen said, declining to elaborate. The shirt shows the “Dennis the Menace” character Margaret.
