Wiz Technology Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano software marketer said Tuesday that it is seeking an extension with the Securities and Exchange Commission for filing its annual report. The company said it expects to report a loss of $500,000 for the year ended July 31, compared with a loss of $2.3 million the previous year. Revenue is expected to more than double to $3.7 million from $1.7 million.

Wiz Technology said it expects to file its annual report by Nov. 15. Officials did not give a reason for the delay. In June, the company’s outside auditor, Corbin & Wertz of Irvine, resigned in a dispute over accounting procedures. The company then retained Coopers & Lybrand’s Newport Beach office.
