Obituaries : Max Croswhite; Longtime Santa Paula Resident

Max Croswhite, a longtime Santa Paula resident, has died after a brief illness. She was 60.
Croswhite was born on Nov. 28, 1934, in Shreveport, La. She came to Santa Paula 52 years ago. For 25 years, she managed Tab Answering Services in Santa Paula.
Croswhite was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Croswhite, in 1984. She is survived by three daughters, Jerry Ann Coats of Santa Maria, Joanna Lee Lindsay of Santa Paula and Belinda Joyce Croswhite of Santa Paula; three sisters, Lillie Corley, Wanda Long and Jerry Rodgers, all of Arkansas; a brother, Wilmer Barnard of Washington; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Santa Paula Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stetler Mortuary in Santa Paula. Friends may call at the Stetler Mortuary Chapel today from noon until 8 p.m.
