THOUSAND OAKS : Professor to Discuss Women, Murder Trial
Law professor Laurie L. Levenson will discuss “Women as Professionals: Images From the Trial of the Century” in Thousand Oaks tonight.
Levenson, a professor at Loyola Marymount School of Law, was consulted by several media sources as an expert during the O.J. Simpson trial. Her opinions often appeared in a Los Angeles Times column on legal issues.
The Thousand Oaks Branch of the American Assn. of University Women will sponsor the program. Tickets, at $8.50 per person, may be purchased at the door.
The lecture will be held at 7:15 p.m. in the Founders Room of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. For more information, contact Carol Robinson at 494-4306.
