Mother Sets Herself, Two Children on Fire

NEW YORK — A 27-year-old pregnant mother from India and her two children were in critical condition after setting herself and them on fire inside their apartment, police said.
Police said Sassadineer Jassal doused herself and daughter Sharon, 5, and son Gershann, 1, with lighter fluid and ignited it Saturday evening.
Her husband, Baldirr, 46, heard the children scream, ran to the bathroom and poured water over them.
