AN IDEA TO BE SHELVED

Regarding “Milk, Cookies and an Equity Line of Credit,” by Emily Gest, Palm Latitudes, Oct. 1: My mailbox is stuffed with junk mail. I’m constantly being harassed by telemarketers. And now, I’m going to be accosted by some overzealous bank employee while I’m squeezing tomatoes at the grocery store.

Don’t even think about it, is my warning to the supermarket where I shop. The day that happens is the day I start looking for a new place to do business.
