World IN BRIEF : POLAND : Walesa Aides Allege Fraud, Vow a Fight

Defeated President Lech Walesa’s staff alleged fraud by followers of victorious ex-Communist Aleksander Kwasniewski and said it would seek court action to annul results of Sunday’s presidential election. Kwasniewski aides denied any attempt to rig the election, in which their candidate won 51.72% of the vote to Walesa’s 48.28%.
