Watson General Corp.: The Irvine remote monitoring software company narrowed its losses in the fiscal year ended Sept. 30 on a surge in sales. Watson General lost $1.1 million, or 12 cents a share, for the fiscal year, compared with a net loss of $1.9 million, or 24 cents a share, for the prior year. Sales gained 76% to $3 million from $1.7 million. In the fourth quarter, the company lost $185,000, or 2 cents a share, down from $510,000, or 6 cents a share, for the like quarter a year ago. Sales increased 75% to $852,000 from $488,000.
